HOW DO I BOOK A SHARPENING?

All you have to do is click the BOOK NOW button on the home page, select a time slot, enter your particulars and checkout.  We will arrive at the address you enter at the time you specify (give or take, we don't have sirens like emergency services do😂)

If you are at an address that isn't your home like an arena or outdoor rink, just add those details to the order notes and we will make sure we show up to the right location.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY SHAPERNING?

We accept cash or email money transfers (auto deposit)

For EMT's send the transfer to abesharp3@gmail.com 

WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE

We service the National Capital Region however outside of our **service area we charge a flat rate fee of $5.00 to the cost of the sharpening.

Service area as of November 2025 is :

Hull, Aylmer, Gatineau

DO YOU COME TO YOUR CUSTOMER'S HOUSE?

We come to our customers house, office, school, or business or even arenas!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A SHAPERNING?

The standard is 2-3 mins per skate, so you're looking at 6-8 minutes when all is said and done.

DO I NEED TO BE HOME?

Absolutely not. Just leave a note during checkout where we can find your skates. We'll come to your house, sharpen them and put them back where we found them. 

We suggest placing your skates in a reusable type grocery bag with the blade guards on.

If your skates have quick-release holders, just leave us your blades.

WILL ABE COME TO EVENTS?

Yes. 

DOES ABE HAVE A BRICK & MORTAR LOCATION?

No, ABE is a mobile skate sharpening service.

I’M NOT SURE WHICH HOLLOW TO CHOOSE, CAN YOU GIVE ANY ADVICE?

DO YOU OFFER VARIOUS HOLLOWS?

We offer a selection of the most popular hollows as (and ones that aren‘t so popular) just ask. Just because it isn't popular or not found in any proshops, doesn't mean it may not be the right hollow for you!

DO YOU SHARPEN LOOSE STEEL?

Yes we do. 

DO YOU SHARPEN GOALIE SKATES?

Yes we do.

DO YOU SHARPEN FIGURE SKATES?

Yes, we sharpen traditional flat-sided figure skates.
